Quick start
Three steps to get going:
1. Sign up at rezano.lv - create your workspace in under a minute. 2. Add locations (Settings -> Locations) and invite employees (Employees -> Invite). 3. Open rezano.lv on your phone - no app needed. Everything works in the mobile browser.
Work locations
A location is a real-world place where your employees work - an office, store, warehouse, etc.
Go to Settings -> Locations -> Add. Each location gets a unique QR code (click the QR button on the location card) - print it and put it at the entrance.
For GPS check-in, enter the latitude, longitude, and radius (metres) on the location settings page. The system will verify the employee is within that radius.
Check in and check out
Employees open rezano.lv in their mobile browser and tap Check-in in the menu. Two methods:
• QR code - employee scans the QR poster at the entrance with their phone camera. • GPS - employee taps 'Check In' and the system verifies their location.
Both can be enabled at the same time (Settings -> Features). When both are on, QR scan also verifies GPS position.
Managers see who is currently working on the Dashboard.
Schedule
The schedule is a calendar of upcoming shifts.
Create: click 'New schedule', set dates and name. Auto-fill (AI): click Auto-fill -> AI mode, describe coverage in plain language (e.g. 'Mon-Thu 2 staff, Fri-Sat 3, Sun 1'). The AI parses your instruction and fills the schedule respecting EU 40h/week and 5-day rules. Auto-fill (Classic): select templates per day, choose strategy (fair / min overtime / cluster). Publish: once you publish, employees see their shifts and are notified by email.
Employees can request a day off directly from the schedule page (Request Day Off button).
Time off (vacation, sick, personal)
Employees open the Leaves page and click 'Request leave'. They pick type (vacation / sick / personal) and dates.
Managers and roles with 'Approve/reject leaves' permission see all requests under the 'All team' tab and can approve or reject with one tap.
Approved leaves block auto-fill - the system will not schedule a shift on a day an employee has an approved leave.
Shift swaps
Can't make a shift? Go to Swaps -> Request swap. Pick the shift you want to give away and optionally request a specific shift in return.
A manager with 'Approve swaps' permission reviews and approves the swap. Both employees are notified.
Reports
Two reports are available under Reports in the menu:
• Hours - total hours worked per employee in a date range. Click any employee to see a day-by-day log of check-ins and check-outs with duration and location. • Overtime - shows employees who exceeded 48h/week or worked more than 6 consecutive days (EU compliance).
Filters: select date range with the picker at the top of each report.
Labour cost
Labour cost shows staff wages as a percentage of revenue - the key efficiency number for restaurants, cafes, retail, and any business with hourly staff.
Setup: • Enable the feature under Settings -> Features -> Labour cost. • Set an hourly rate for each employee (Employees -> edit). Hours are taken from check-ins automatically. • Enter daily revenue per location directly in the report (Reports -> Labour cost).
The report shows hours, cost (hours x rate), revenue, and labour % (cost / revenue x 100) per location and day. Click a row to see the per-employee breakdown.
'vs last month' compares the overall labour % with the previous calendar month. The difference is shown in percentage points (pp): 3.6% last month vs 2.9% now = -0.7pp. Green means a smaller share of revenue goes to wages.
Access is controlled by the 'View labour cost report' permission - grant it per role under Settings -> Roles.
Branches and teams
Bigger companies can have one main workspace (parent) plus extra branches - each with their own employees, locations, and schedules.
Go to Settings -> Locations & Teams -> Add branch. Switch between workspaces using the dropdown in the top left corner.
As the owner of the parent, you see aggregated reports across all branches.
Roles and permissions
Three built-in roles: • Employee - no management access. Can check in/out, view own schedule, request leaves and swaps. • Manager - can manage employees, schedules, locations, leaves, and swaps. • Owner - full access including billing.
You can also create custom roles (Settings -> Roles) and choose exactly which permissions to grant. Useful for a shift lead who can approve leaves but not manage billing.
Billing and plans
Free plan: limited employees and locations. No credit card needed.
Paid plans (Starter / Growth / Pro) unlock more employees, locations, AI schedule fill, compliance reports, and custom roles. Billing is monthly and can be cancelled any time - no lock-in.
Manage your subscription under Settings -> Billing.
Mobile - works in browser
Rezano is fully optimised for mobile browsers - no app install needed.
On iOS (Safari) or Android (Chrome): open rezano.lv and add it to your home screen (Share -> Add to Home Screen) for an app-like experience.
Everything works on mobile: check-in, schedule, leaves, swaps, history. Managers can approve requests and manage the team directly from their phone.
Demo workspace
